KAUST celebrated its 16th Commencement and honored the Class of 2025, graduating at a remarkable moment in the Kingdom’s history. Saudi Arabia is entering an ambitious new chapter—driven by curiosity, innovation, and a belief that talent defines the future.

During the ceremony, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman shared a powerful message reflecting this transformation:
“This is the new Saudi Arabia that knows only meritocracy and talent. Whoever wants to live with us, is more than welcome. Whoever wants to share our dream, is more than welcome. Whoever wants to be an accomplisher in Saudi Arabia, is more than welcome.”

We proudly congratulate Drs. Billal Aslam and Xinyu Yao on their PhD graduation. Their achievements were made possible through dedication, hard work, and the guidance of their advisor, Professor Bicheng Yan, whose mentorship played a key role in their academic journey.
