The SPE Gas & Oil Technology Showcase & Conference (GOTECH) 2024 took place in Dubai, UAE, from May 7 to 9. Prof. Bicheng Yan participated in this event, taking on several roles:

1. Presented DGYM’s latest fractured reservoir simulation research, titled “Diagnet - A Hybrid Physics-Data Driven Model for Fractured Reservoir Simulation,” with PhD student Billal Aslam as the first author. This research is a collaboration with Drs. Knut-Andreas Lie, Stein Krogstad, and Olav Moyner from SINTEF, Norway, and Dr. Xupeng He from Aramco EXPEC ARC.
2. Chaired a session on “Data Analytics for Reservoir Dynamics” alongside Prof. Mohammad Rahman from Texas A&M University Qatar, and another session on “Exploration and Development of Unconventional Resources II.
