Society of Petrophysicist and Well log analyst (SPWLA) has organized topical workshop on the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCUS) in Saline Water Aquifers". This event was held on 7th and 8th of November, 2023 in Al Khobar Saudi Arabia. Dr. Tariq represented DGYM and KAUST at the topical workshop where he contributed to the panel discussion, an oral presentation on 'Rapid Simulation and Optimization of Geological CO2 Sequestration Using Coarse Grid Network Model' and a poster presentation on 'A Deep Learning Framework to Forecast Spatial-Temporal Dynamics of CO2 Mineralization in Reactive Rocks.'
