On October 12, 2023, the Petroleum and Geothermal Engineering Program of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Indonesia had the privilege of hosting Prof. Bicheng Yan from DGYM for an insightful guest lecture. The event, aimed at both undergraduate and graduate students in engineering, focused on the cutting-edge topic of "Deep Learning Application for Geo-energy Engineering."

Following the lecture, Prof. Yan engaged in a productive sharing session with faculty members in the petroleum and geothermal engineering department. This interaction opened opportunities for discussing potential research collaborations, emphasizing sustainable approaches in geo-energy engineering.

The visit concluded with a tour of ITB's petroleum engineering research laboratories, highlighting their work in Enhanced Oil Recovery and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) research. This visit not only served as a platform for research dissemination from DGYM but also significantly contributed to fostering a collaborative environment with academic institutions.
